Newsletter #7 International Entrepreneurship Trainings with Workshops. Project LT-PL-1R-048

The conference “International entrepreneurship trainings with workshops”, organized as part of the project “Lithuania-Poland Cooperation Platform Supporting Newly Established Business and Promoting Entrepreneurship”, took place on November 30 – December 1 at the Faculty of Engineering Management at the Bialystok University of Technology (Poland).

The realized project concerns activities aimed at improving the quality of services through sharing knowledge and good practices provided by organizations supporting entrepreneurship (including higher learning institutions) within areas covered by the Interreg Poland-Lithuania program.

The conference, along with its accompanying workshops, was aimed at university students as well as young entrepreneurs interested in issues concerning startups or need substantive support in developing their business ideas.

Our speakers, nationally recognized business coaches Andrzej Kuśmierz and Michał Korba, conducted workshops on market research, validation of business models, financial models, search for sources of startup financing.

Dr Andrzej Kuśmierz works a an Assistant Professor in Strategy Department at the Kozminski University, Warsaw. He is a member of the Top500 Innovators program at the Stanford University. He supports innovation in science by cooperating with scientists interested in changing their ideas into businesses.

Michał Korba is a Head of Sales in a marketing automation platform, Chief Everything Officer and CO-Founder in (a gift funding application). For more than 6 years he was a head of an interactive section in advertising agency Vena Art.  Mr Korba is a trainer in Startup Academy and lecturer in a few universities in Poland.
