On November 17 a conference “A platform for cooperation between Lithuania and Poland in support of new business” was held in Tauragė District Municipality. District entrepreneurs, government representatives and people who want to start a business have introduced small and medium-sized business support arrangements, job subsidies, and other aspects that are important to know when starting and developing a business.
During the conference, Gintarė Ambrozaitytė, an entrepreneurship specialist from Startup Space of the Kaunas University of Technology, presented the concept and the essence of the project. The chief Specialist of the Lithuanian Labor Exchange, Jurgita Petraitienė, introduced the measures of the labor exchange’s employment support, such as support for learning, support for job creation, support for mobility.
Andrius Laucius, an entrepreneurship specialist emphasized that the Tauragė District Municipality has approved the procedure for the financing of small and medium-sized enterprises in order to create favorable conditions for business creation, job creation and faster growth of the region and for medium-sized businesses, the creation of new jobs.
During the conference, marketing expert Aurimas Šumbrauskis presented the effectiveness of the use of marketing tools in business entities, with his knowledge, experience and practical examples about the interaction of the real estate market with business in Taurage, Arnoldas Antanavičius, head of Public Institution “Realdata”.
During the conference, the concluding remarks of the Mayor of Tauragė District Municipality Sigitas Mičiulis expressed satisfaction at the activities of the Taurage in the creation of new jobs, the successful subsidization of setting up small and micro enterprises, and the promotion of small and medium-sized businesses.
